Continuous Home Care

Continuous Home Care is provided during times of crisis to help keep you or your loved one at home while our patient care team helps to relieve acute medical symptoms and bring them under control.

Respite Care

Sometimes care for the caregiver is needed. Caring for a loved one with a terminal illness can be difficult on many levels – physically and emotionally. There may be times when a caregiver needs to step away for a short period of time to recharge. Helping Hands Hospice offers short-term Respite Care in the Hospital when space is available. Using the Hospice benefit, a maximum respite stay of 5 days is allowable. The caregiver can trust that their loved one is cared for by highly trained hospice nurses and physicians that will be on hand to provide the comfort and security needed. Helping Hands Hospice takes a holistic approach to patient care – meaning we care for the patient and the family. We are here to assist in bringing comfort and care to all involved.

General Inpatient Care

Although most hospice care is provided within the home, a patient may qualify for inpatient care to control acute pain and other symptoms. Inpatient care is one of the four levels of care provided by Helping Hands Hospice.
